Grand Launch of FindMine Foundation to Empower Women and Communities

The FindMine Foundation held its official grand launch on 28th October 2026 at Jamesbert Hospital, Sunyani, marking a significant milestone in its mission to empower women and transform communities across Ghana.

The launch, which took place earlier in the morning before the Foundation’s free health screenings at Chiraa Market, brought together community leaders, traditional authorities, healthcare professionals, and supporters to celebrate the birth of an organization dedicated to holistic empowerment and social impact.

Miss Lawrencia Ama Yeboah, Chief Executive Officer of the FindMine Foundation, spoke passionately about the Foundation’s vision and long-term goals.

“FindMine Foundation was established to discover, nurture, and celebrate the potential in every girl. We aim to provide healthcare access, mentorship, skills training, and leadership development so that women can rise to their full potential and contribute meaningfully to their communities.”

The Foundation plans to roll out programs that will focus on:

• Comprehensive health initiatives including breast cancer screenings, general health checks, and free surgeries in collaboration with local hospitals.
• Skills development and vocational training for young women to enable self-reliance and economic empowerment.
• Mentorship and leadership programs to build confidence and equip women for leadership roles in their communities.
• Awareness campaigns on critical issues such as menstrual health, nutrition, and preventive healthcare.

The launch event also included remarks from Barima Mintah Afari II, Chief of Chiraa and Benkumhene of the Dormaa Traditional Area, who commended the Foundation for its vision and pledged the support of the traditional council in achieving its goals.

“Supporting the health, education, and empowerment of women in our communities is investing in the future of Chiraa and beyond,” the Chief said.

With its official launch, the FindMine Foundation has signaled a new era of empowerment, education, and healthcare advocacy, promising impactful programs that will transform lives and communities for years to come.
